Sponged underglaze color and scragfitto. Individually decorated. There are 100 teapots in each edition, signed and numbered by the artist. The edition is now 1/4 of the way through.

Roger Michell first began potting in his back garden at the age of 14. At 15 he was apprenticing with David Eeles. He took a ceramics degree at the Central, worked as an assistant to Anthony Caro for a year before becoming a gallerist at the Serpentine Gallery. Lustre Pottery was established in 1972 after a short spell as Zoo Artist at Flamingo Park Zoo.
