Liskeard Community Hospital is situated out of town by an industrial estate of garages and shoddy modern buildings. The hospital itself is a fine piece of architecture, which within the constraints of budget has managed to be distinguished.

Liskeard itself was a once wealthy mineral town which although unable to live up to former glories, has some fine buildings and of course a lively and interesting population.
It was to connect the hospital with the town that the photography project was undertaken.
Wall length size images of moments and detail of the architecture and life in the town were captured, altered to blend gently into the new hospital and presented in relationship to architectural detail.
