Coloured glazed red earthenware tile stand

The point of this is that it is beautiful, It sits on your table(say) and will endure usage from hot liquids to most other things (except impact) and it stays beautiful.

The tiles are selected from a collection of naturally pigmented glazes for their colour and shape, laid out not quite symetrically and look like the sun and the sea.They are mounted on plate glass so the underside is perfectly smooth, won't scratch.

The approach is un-mannered and direct, the finish simple.

The tile stand is approximately 20 inches long by 13 inches wide.
