Kick and Storm

Let the water,
Still and calm
Lift and rock you
Safe from harm.

Fishy fingers
Flicker round
Making sure
You won’t be drowned.

Under water,
Warm and dim
Nurses in their swimsuits
Swim.

Deep and dim
With ponderous tail
Slowly moves the
Mighty whale.

Blow the bubbles
From your chin.
Let the little
Winds begin.

Now the winds
Begin to rise
Horses Gallop
Through the skies
With thundering hooves
And flashing
Eyes.

Batter at the
Water bright
Kick and splash
With all your might.

In lightening crash
And thunder loud
The dolphins dive
From cloud to cloud.

Beat your fins
And sweep your tail
Spouting bubbles
Like the whale.

While the lightening
Roars and rips
Wag your bottom,
Shake your hips.

From star to star
The wild baboon
Swings howling at
The flittering moon.

Churn the water
With your knees
Making waves
And mighty seas.

Swish your tail
And rake your paw.
Like the angry
Panther roar.

The blood red sun
Sinks in the west
And clouds of honey
Bring us rest.

So float upon
The waters warm
Like seagulls sleeping
After storm.
