Seattle Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings: TV, radio, streaming

We’re only hours away from kicking off the first meaningful game in front of fans at US Bank Stadium since December 2019. Yes, the Minnesota Vikings will finally be able to play their home opener as they battle their home. nemesis of the Pacific Northwest, the Seattle Seahawks. TV Information

For the second week in a row, the Vikings are part of the late afternoon window with a kick-off set for 3:25 p.m. Central Time Sunday afternoon. This game will air on FOX, with Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez on the call for action today. If you’re wondering whether or not you’re in the local broadcast area for this one, here’s the 506 Sports folks weekly card. The Seahawks / Vikings game is represented by the blue area.

If you are using the DirecTV Sunday Ticket package to watch this one, you will need to point your receiver to Channel 717.

If you are one of our men and women in uniform serving overseas. . . well, you’re out of luck this week. The American Forces Network has decided that the Seahawks / Vikings game does not deserve to be released. Not live, not in replay, not at all.

Radio Info

Once again, the Vikings radio network and all of its affiliates will bring you live broadcasts of every Vikings game for 2021. If you are traveling to an area where there is an affiliate or just prefer radio to TV, check out their site and find the affiliate in your region.

If you plan to use satellite radio, you can get this week’s game from Sirius Channel 77 Where Channel XM 228. These channels will bring you the Vikings Radio Network stream. If you are using the Sirius XM app, the Viking permanent home is on Channel 820.

Referee Information

Football Zebras informs us that this week’s refereeing team will be led by Clay Martin. The Vikings haven’t seen Martin in a while, because according to Pro Football Reference he hasn’t managed any Vikings games in 2020. The last time the Vikings made Seeing him was good for purple, as his crew clinched the Vikings’ epic 27-23 victory over the Denver Broncos in November 2019.

Weather information

This game will be played indoors, of course, so the weather is not going to affect the game. If you are going to participate in any pre-game activities, our friends at WeatherNation ask you a very nice day for that. Temperatures before kick off will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s with a light breeze from the southwest.

Since this is a FOX game, you can watch this one on FOX Sports online by logging in with your TV provider credentials. You can also get the game on NFL GamePass, or by viewing a service such as Fubo TV.
