Sunday, December 12 TV Highlights: CBS Airs New Holiday Movie | Television



For the first time in over a decade, CBS will air two new holiday movies, tonight and next Sunday.

Tonight’s offering, “A Christmas Proposal” (7:30 p.m., CBS) starts in a glitzy corporate environment. Maria Winters (Jessica Camacho) dreams of opening her own line of food trucks, but decided to work as an executive chef for a singer in the making.

Meanwhile, Seattle attorney Julian Diaz (Adam Rodriguez) has a problem. His father wants to retire and must choose among his children to see who will succeed him. Julian may have the legal skills, but doesn’t have the gravity of an established married man. Thus, Julian “hires” Maria to play his girlfriend during the Christmas holidays. Will the mistletoe’s spirit interfere with their arrangement?

The highlights of tonight“White House Christmas 2021” (5 p.m. HGTV) look behind the scenes at the elaborate decorations of the Executive Mansion.
