Former Pakistani host Shoaib Akhtar quit a TV show and resigned as a cricket analyst after being ordered to leave the show’s host at PTV as he analyzed the victory of Pakistan over New Zealand at the T20 World Cup.
Akhtar said he was abused and insulted on the air by the host during the post-match show. Discussing the match on PTV Sports’ “Game on Hai”, Akhtar credited the Pakistan Super League Lahore Qalandars team for discovering Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf.

Akhtar, who was on the show alongside former players David Gower and Viv Richards, said he couldn’t continue.
